Cash and change

Type or tap what they hand over and the till says the change; at the end of the day it says what should be in the drawer.

  1. Take payment → Cash

    Press Charge and Cash is lit already. Type what they handed over, or tap a note, and the till works out the change. Press Cash taken and it's done.
  2. Exact money? Press Exact. Handed over less than the total? The till says how much is short, and you take the rest another way, on the card machine or the QR code.
  3. Every bit of cash taken, and every bit given back on a return, goes in the day's book. At the end of the day the till says what should be in the drawer: the float you started with, plus cash taken, less cash given back.
  4. The receipt says it too: what they handed over and the change, so there's no argument at the counter.
